My first blog

After my second glass of wine last night, I thought starting my own blog page was a great idea. Now Question to self this morning - Why in the world do you want to start you own blog? So, you really believe you have that kind of time? Do you even know how? Who will read it?
Ok, so it's a bad idea but I still want to try. The reason I want to try, is to share my love for making beautiful things with others. I have a passion for sewing, refashioning, crafting, shopping for beautiful vintage items. As my mom would say, "this is my therapy." I love to sew for my daughter, my friends and my family but I never have enough time to sew for myself. So this page is being made for me, so I can still enjoy the lovely things I have sewn, sweat over, cursed over, poured hours of time into and given away as gifts. This page is to inspire me to do more and also to inspire others to sew, be creative and find their therapy. This page will be to share tips, ideas and encouragement. Now that I've pumped myself up, I am ready to blog.
